The Answers You Need
Where are you based?

Titan Terrariums HQ is in Chesterton, Cambridge, Terrariums are usually collected by customers from here. We also have a secondary location in Royston Hertfordshire, where we occasionally hold a roadside sale
How do I care for my Arid Terrarium?
ARID TERRARIUMS
Containing cacti and succulents
WATER: MINIMAL! The no1 way to hurt these plants is to overwater them especially in an enclosure without drainage to the outside world. Therefore, LESS IS SO MUCH MORE! – apply water by dropper or spoon to the base of each plant and allow to sink in, the compost should not be left soaked when you finish but rather still quite dry. For the best longevity use rainwater or spring water. The most frequently you should water is perhaps once a fortnight, but do not water on a schedule, less is more! DO NOT MIST!
LIGHT: These plants can tolerate anything from bright direct sunlight to partial shade, but will do much better in bright or indirectly bright light
How do I care for my Humid Terrarium?
HUMID TERRARIUMS
Containing semi-tropical plants
WATER: a good misting on the same day each week will be a good starting point, but don’t overdo it! Again, an enclosed arrangement needs much less water than you think, and overwatering is the no1 way to hurt your plants. For the best longevity use rainwater or spring water.
LIGHT: This depends on the plants contained, but most will suffer under bright direct light and will do better with indirect light, some arrangements are even specialised to partial shade but you need to know which variety you have before you decide on placement
How do I care for my Fully Enclosed Terrarium?
FULLY ENCLOSED “TRUE” TERRARIUMS
Containing semi-tropical and/or tropical plants
WATER: NO! – An enclosed terrarium contains its own water cycle, so there is no need to add more, EVER! However, with a younger terrarium you may find it is running too wet, and condensation is obscuring the glass all day. If this happens you can unstopper the container and leave it open for a few days then reseal and see if the problem persists, if it does, simply repeat.
LIGHT: Glass is an insulator of heat, so even with tropical arrangements that love heat too much bright light can cook the plants! So indirect sunlight is best, rotate the arrangement regularly to promote even growth and symmetry.

Occasionally local delivery on the day of a sale in Royston can be arranged
Do you have a pricelist?

Prices for my creations vary due to the resources and materials used, the rarity of certain plants and the complexity of the piece. You should find our prices reasonable though as we sell only to allow us to recoup our costs and make room for more creations!
As a guide though:
small creations start at around £6
Medium creations start at £20
Large or complex creations start at £30
What is your return or refund policy?
Terrariums are living works of art.
Every effort has been made to make sure that they will last as long as possible, However the easiest way to destroy a Terrarium is to overwater it or leave it in absolute darkness! I cannot accept the liability that a customer might make that mistake, our current policy is no refunds. like Zeus I love all my creations however weird and will try to advise any customer as best I can if their terrarium starts to show signs of degradation
